NI LabVIEW

LabVIEW from National Instruments is a requirement. Windows, Mac and Linux version should all work, but only the Windows version has been tested.

Only the "base" or "community" version of LabVIEW is needed. The community edition is free of charge for personal use.

To update older plants to the newest version, the included conversion vi must be used.

The numbering is: LVTrans-xxxx-aa.bb.cc

xxxx is the lowest required version of LabVIEW. For various reasons an older version of LVTrans may require a newer version of LabVIEW. aa.bb.cc is the LVTrans version. A higher number is always a newer version.
